After bouncing to ~$96 on Wednesday, it slid back to the $88–90 zone and briefly tagged its **200-day moving average (~$88.9)** for the first time since August. It is now −11% on the week and −26% on the month. ## What Moved the Market **1. Macro risk-off from Wall Street.** A sharp Nasdaq sell-off, driven by AI-spending and chip worries in the days after the US midterms, spilled into crypto. Bitcoin dropped below $76K, and more than **$1B in crypto liquidations** hit in 24 hours, mostly longs. SOL was not the cause, but high-beta assets felt it most. **2. ETF flows are still soft.** US spot SOL ETFs saw small net outflows on Nov 5 (about −$1M), after a record ~$71M weekly outflow in late October. Cumulative net inflows still sit around **$1.47B**, and ETF assets are ~$1.33B. In Hong Kong, Pando launched the region's second Solana ETF. **3. The platform keeps shipping.** - **Samsung Wallet stablecoin accounts went live**, so eligible US Galaxy users can buy, hold, send and receive **USDC on Solana**. That puts Solana rails in front of a huge mobile audience. - **Leap** (from the Solana Labs/Dialect ecosystem) launched a mobile trading app for tokenized stocks, ETFs, metals and crypto. SOL is sitting right on a major support zone while macro pressure from equities hasn't cleared yet. A daily close below ~$88 would open a move toward $85 and possibly $80. There are also reasons for a relief bounce. Daily RSI is near 30 (oversold), a lot of leverage was just flushed out, and fundamentals are steady: Alpenglow, Samsung/USDC distribution, tokenized assets and record DEX share. If $88–90 holds and Nasdaq stabilizes, a bounce back toward **$95–98** is realistic. **Base case:** choppy trading between $86 and $95. Direction depends on Bitcoin and US tech stocks more than on Solana-specific news.
